Offloading is the ability of the ZeroOutages service to force low priority network traffic, like email, certain web-based applications, large file transfers, etc. over our secondary Internet connection, thus providing more bandwidth for the primary Internet connection and your critical network applications.

Voice over the Internet is very sensitive to jitter and high latency. With our offloading capabilities ZeroOutages can ensure that low priority / high bandwidth applications, which can cause poor VoIP performance, is sent across the secondary links, while VoIP traffic remains going across the primary link without interference.
