What Is Offloading?

Offloading is the ability of the ZeroOutages service to force low priority network traffic, like email, certain web-based applications, large file transfers, etc. over our secondary Internet connection, thus providing more bandwidth for the primary Internet connection and your critical network applications.

Improve VoIP Call Quality!

Voice over the Internet is very sensitive to jitter and high latency. With our offloading capabilities ZeroOutages can ensure that low priority / high bandwidth applications, which can cause poor VoIP performance, is sent across the secondary links, while VoIP traffic remains going across the primary link without interference.

Improve Remote Terminal/SSL/Citrix Connectivity

If you are using any of these applications, then responsiveness is very important for your end-users. If you have experienced slow downs during the day before, this is typically caused by end-users using high-bandwidth applications which are generally classified as low priority. With our "offload" capability, your critical application will no longer be slowed down by low priority traffic.

Do P2P applications slow down your network during the day?

Our "offload" service ensures that P2P applications and websites like YouTube, and streaming audio sites do not interrupt your critical network traffic. By offloading these connections to our secondary Internet connection your critical applications have all the bandwidth they need without the interference and latency caused by momentary bursts of traffic.
